OCED - Marketing & Branding for Economic Development

Join us in person on July 29th, 2024, to learn the fundamentals of marketing and branding from a robust team of consultants, marketing and economic development professionals, and successful industry practitioners in our OCED Course, "Marketing & Branding for Economic Development".

In-person OCED Courses are held approximately twice per year. These are 1-day training events, typically convened in a central location for ease of travel for students and trainers. In-person courses offer valuable opportunities to connect, build networks and partnerships, and directly engage with leaders in the field. You won't want to miss this unique learning experience!

The "Marketing & Branding for Economic Development" course will be held in conjunction with the OEDA Higher Education & Economic Development Collaboration Summit at the Courtyard Corvallis! Enrollees in this OCED Training will receive group-rate pricing for hotel accommodations and discounted on-site parking ($10/day).

OCED Students attending the Marketing & Branding course are welcome to attend the Collaboration Summit's Networking Happy Hour Event at ! This is the kick-off event for the Summit, held following the OCED Training on Monday, July 29th at 5:00 pm.

The OCED: Marketing & Branding for Economic Development course will be held at the brand new Homes/Shipley Room in the Kalapuya Building for Benton County located at 4500 SW Research Way, Corvallis, OR 97333.

OCED Students staying for the Collaboration Summit must contact the Courtyard Mariott staff to secure reservations within the guestblock window of July 28th - July 30th.

Meals:

Students will enjoy a complimentary breakfast and lunch, plus two breaks between classes with refreshments!

Meals are ordered in advance, so please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions which require specialty dining accommodations at [email protected] after registering. Students must be registered no later than 6:00 pm Friday, July 19th.

Non-member Price: $250

OCED Graduates:

If the "Marketing & Branding for Economic Development" course fulfills the final requirement for your OCED Certification, upon completion you are eligible to be honored at the GRADUATION CEREMONY during the 2024 Annual Conference this October 6-8! Cancellations:

Refunds for in-person events are offered up to one week before the event date (July19, 2024). Students may also request an account credit for use toward future events or trainings.
