ALPHA CENTAURI is a hip hop artist based in Nanaimo/ Vancouver that offers up a unique sound blending hip hop, funk, r&b, and afro-beat music - with important conscious lyrics - who records and plays with a full band. Over the past 3 years he has played numerous music festivals across British Columbia and has opened for artists such as JA RULE, Method Man/Redman, Chali 2na/ Cut Chemist (of Jurassic 5), and Toronto soul songstress Tanika Charles - as well as with Vancouver area artists such as Moka Only, Sirreal, Junk, Ndidi Cascade, Emotionz, Hardbody Dreams, Brass Camel, Naduh, and more .
