Ocean Odyssey: Exploring CA's Marine Wonders in a Marine Biology Adventure - 3rd to 5th grade

Join us for an exciting marine biology adventure! Dive into the fascinating world of California's marine wonders with hands-on activities, interactive exhibits, and engaging presentations. Young marine biologists will experience ocean animals firsthand in this course. Students will interact with live starfish, anemones, crabs, nudibranchs, and more as they learn about the foundations of California’s coastal ecosystems and the role their favorite animals play! Discover the incredible diversity of marine life and learn about their habitats, adaptations, and conservation. This class is specially designed for students in 3rd to 5th grade who are curious about the ocean and its inhabitants. Don't miss this opportunity to embark on an unforgettable journey through the depths of the sea! This course will spark curiosity and excitement about science through incorporating hands-on labs, inquiry based learning, art, and engineering projects.

• Class Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with a break for snack

HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOL: The health and safety of our students, staff, their families, and the community at large is our top priority. SRVEF follows the guidelines set by the Contra Costa Health Services.

REFUND, CANCELATION and WAITLIST POLICIES: Refunds will be allowed up until 2 weeks before the first day of class and will incur a $25 processing fee. After this time, no refunds will be granted. If a class is canceled by SRVEF Imagineering, you will be given the option to transfer registration to a similar class or receive a full refund. The waitlist will be handled in order until one week before the event. At that time, if a spot becomes available, the entire wait list will be notified at the same time and the first to respond will be offered the spot.
