Aussie oddballs Ocean Grove are incredibly psyched to present their long awaited debut headline tour across the United Kingdom and Europe! Take a step into the Oddworld...
Promising to be a show like no other, this tour marks the first return of Ocean Grove to UK/EU shores since supporting Crossfaith back in March 2020. Ocean Grove have been powering across Australia this year with several sold out shows and festival appearances in the wake of their brand new album ‘Up In The Air Forever’ released on the 22nd April, 2022 via UNFD. They now prepare to bring this enigmatic show to life with an in-your-face intimacy found only within the beer-soaked walls of Europe’s finest establishments.
Ocean Grove’s ‘Up In The Air Forever’ is a full-hearted mix of big-sky melodies and some of the most unique storytelling ever to come from a three-piece rock band. The band’s third LP expands on many of the things that made their 2020 technicoloured sophomore release ‘Flip Phone Fantasy’ such a hit - huge choruses, irresistible riffs and catchy sloganeering lyrics - but now rendered with a new sense of scope and scale. Hazy, nostalgic guitars wrap themselves around swaggering pop savvy, the trio’s ambition evident on every layer, from meticulous song crafting to head-spinning concepts. A record that looks as far forward into an alternate future as it does take heed from the classics of the past, ‘Up In The Air Forever’ traverses from genre to genre, taking in guest appearances from international chart-toppers Dune Rats (Aus) and Lizzo / Travis Barker collaborator Lil Aaron (USA).
