Join us on Ocean Drive on November 2nd for a performance featuring the Amernet String Quartet as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, a free, weekly concert series presented by the Ocean Drive Association. Pack a picnic blanket or lawn chair to stake out your seat on the lawn. Showtime is at 5:00 PM.
Praised for their "intelligence" and “immensely satisfying” playing by the New York Times, the Amernet String Quartet has garnered recognition as one of today's exceptional string quartets and are Ensemble-in-Residence at Florida International University in Miami. Their sound has been called “complex” but with an “old world flavor.” Strad Magazine described the Amernet as “...a group of exceptional ability.”
These events (every Sunday!) are free and open to the public-- and will take place in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. Rainy-day location is inside The Betsy Hotel!
