Ocean Charcuterie Board with Epoxy - Woodworking Class

Spend a couple of hours in my private, climate-controlled woodshop milling up lumber to make a charcuterie board, a serving tray, or a cutting board. This class moves pretty fast and you'll be surprised how much you get done in two hours.

All the tools and materials will be provided. You will learn how to choose interesting figured pieces of wood, mill them down and make them flat, cut your shape, and pour epoxy to make a "river" board or an "ocean" board.

• No experience is required
• Climate controlled woodshop
• Students get to choose their piece of wood and the design they want
• You'll be using power tools! But no worries if you've never used them, I'll teach you all the safety stuff you need to know.
• Pieces take about 7 days to cure. You're welcome to come back and pick it up or I can ship it for an additional cost.

Info: The first hour we'll spend using a band saw to carve out the shape of your boards. You will also sand it smooth to get it ready for epoxy.

Info: The second half of the class I will demo how to mix epoxy and create the ocean effect. You will have practice pieces before you do your real piece!
