OCADU MSA Year End Event: Celebrating Islamic Arts

To conclude the 25/26 year, OCADU MSA and Islamic Relief TMU are inviting everyone to join us for a celebration of the Islamic artistic tradition, featuring design workshops, Muslim artist vendors, and dinner! Each participant will create their own unique piece of Arabic calligraphy with Islamic patterning, directed by dynamic professional instructors.

All proceeds support the Palestine Emergency Appeal

About the Instructors:

⁠Ustadh Muhammad Elmarouk is a traditionally trained calligrapher and educator. He grew up in the Bay Area and lived across the Middle East and North Africa, where he studied Islamic sciences. He is part of the team at Basira Education.

⁠Nora Elkeyat is an artist & trained interior architectural designer with a studio practice in illustration. Her work explores biomorphic geometries in nature & spiritual storytelling, experimenting with an eclectic use of colours, patterns, and technology.
