As we ramp up for the 77th Annual Ocean Beach Kite Festival presented by Ocean Beach Kiwanis & Ocean Beach Woman's Club, we need help from volunteers. At this month's normally scheduled Craft Night, we'll be learning how to make kites for the kids. We estimate over 2,000 kites will need to be assembled, so it's an all-hands-on-deck approach to make sure this event goes off without a hitch! No registration is needed to attend this Volunteer Training event, just show up. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign-up to help out on the day of the event, May 18th.
The second training will be held on May 7th from 6:30-9 pm.
