Obsidian James' Album Release Party

Join Obsidian James for the live debut of his first album "Impact", a project six years in the making, recorded live and created to be experienced in community. More than an album release, this evening is a celebration of the people, relationships, heartbreaks, healing, and life moments that leave their mark on us. "Impact" explores the lessons learned through love and loss, and the ways connection shapes who we become. Backed by a live band 4PM Music, and joined by Downtown Jada Brown, the night will feature a full live performance of the album alongside immersive musicianship, storytelling, and fellowship for this groundbreaking event.
Obsidian James is an Afro Indigenous artist who makes music from the inside out; songs drawn from real moments of love, doubt, joy, and survival, carried by warm guitar lines, smooth vocals, and deep pocket grooves. Blending R&B, Neo Soul, Jazz, Blues, and Hip Hop, his sound feels lived in, honest, and present. Following the performance, guests are invited to stay for a live artist Q&A with Obsidian James to hear about the creative process behind the album, the journey of recording it live, and the stories that inspired the music.
