Guilford College Physics Department will host its first public open house of the academic year. The theme will be on solar activity, space weather, and aurorae. Prof. Thom Espinola will present a multimedia lecture in our planetarium dome, after which, if weather allows, visitors will be welcomed to the rooftop observatory to experience the sky through our available telescopes.
The event is free and children are welcome. Please note that this is Guilford College and not GTCC. Hopefully Facebook has the map location correct.
