Jeudredi Darling est une série d'événements mensuels dans laquelle la Fonderie Darling offre, une fois par mois, à toutes et à tous, qu'il s'agisse de visiteur·se·s régulier·ère·s ou de nouveaux venu·e·s, une occasion unique de participer activement à notre vie artistique. Et ce, toujours gratuitement, lors d'un « Jeudredi » convivial.
Pour inaugurer la série, l’auteur Nicholas Dawson prend comme point de départ les objets – tangibles ou invisibles – à partir desquels nous bâtissons les histoires de nos vies et qui activent les potentiels affectifs de l’autofiction. Entre le personnel et le collectif, entre le réel et le fantasmé, entre le vraisemblable et le loufoque, les récits de soi que nous travaillons ont comme fondement la mémoire intime, dans le but de faire circuler les affects entre nous.
Les participant·e·s sont invité·e·s à apporter avec eux un objet (physique ou invisible, par exemple un bibelot, calepin, photo, souvenir, chanson, air, etc.) qui réfère à une histoire fondamentale de leur vie. Des instructions suivent par courriel après l’inscription.

Jeudredi Darling is a series of monthly events in which Fonderie Darling offers, everyone, once a month, whether regular visitors or newcomers, a unique opportunity to actively participate in our artistic life. And it's always free of charge, during a friendly “Jeudredi Darling” event.
To launch this series, author Nicholas Dawson takes as his starting point the objects—tangible or invisible—from which we construct the stories of our lives and which unlock the emotional potential of autofiction. Between the personal and the collective, between the real and the imagined, between the plausible and the whimsical, the personal narratives we explore are rooted in intimate memory, with the aim of circulating emotions among us.
Participants are invited to bring an object (physical or invisible, such as a trinket, notebook, photo, memento, song, melody, etc.) that relates to a fundamental story from their lives. Instructions will follow via email after registration.
