OBC | 2026 Slave Trail Walk.

Choose the best day for an in-person adventure as we explore the historical Slave Trail Walk. It's a chance to step back in time, learn some eye-opening stories, and connect with history in a meaningful way. This is an opportunity to engage in a dialogue and expand one’s awareness of Richmond’s painful past.

Participants will meet at the Pastoral Center and take a shuttle to the start of the trail at Manchester Docks. Once it is finished the group will come back to the Pastoral Center for a light lunch.

This event is promoted by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond - Office for Black Catholics. It is an event open to all denominations and faiths.

Please be aware that, due to the nature of the event and its subject, it is not recommended for kids under 14 or for people who use wheelchairs, walkers, etc.
