Obake Sake 2026
About this Event
Obake Sake 2026
Join JCI Honolulu for Obake Sake 2026, a premium sake tasting experience on the atmospheric grounds of Todaiji Hawaii temple on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 PM.
Spend the evening sampling a wide selection of delicious and not-sold-in-Hawaii Japanese sake provided by our friends at the Kokusai Sake Kai, accompanied by and assortment of Japanese pupus, a prize raffle, and a sophisticated, slightly spooky Halloween atmosphere. Whether you’re completely new to sake or already know your junmai from your daiginjo, Obake Sake is designed to be an approachable and enjoyable way to discover new favorites while spending the evening with friends and fellow sake enthusiasts.
BONUS: Support the Hawaiʻi Foodbank and Get $10 Back! Help us support our community while you enjoy the evening. Bring a donation of 2 or more canned goods or other non-perishable food items per person for JCI Honolulu’s Thanksgiving Food Drive and receive a $10 cash refund at the door.
