Step into another era for an elegant afternoon of gardens, music, cocktails, and timeless recreation at Oatlands Historic House and Gardens.

Set against one of Loudoun County’s most beautiful historic landscapes, the Oatlands Garden Soirée invites you to experience the estate as it was meant to be enjoyed: wandering through formal gardens, sipping a seasonal cocktail, listening to live period music, and joining a game of croquet on the lawn.

Throughout the afternoon, living history interpreters in period attire will bring the spirit of an early 20th-century garden gathering to life, hosting classic lawn games including croquet, badminton, lawn bowling, and ring toss. Enjoy generous hors d’oeuvres and special cocktails, explore the historic Mansion and gardens, or simply find a beautiful spot to relax and take in the landscape.

For our VIP guests, the afternoon begins with an exclusive reception at Oatlands’ historic Greenhouse, offering a particularly special setting to raise a glass before the Soirée begins.

Proceeds from the Garden Soirée support the preservation of Oatlands, beginning this year with the replacement of the Mansion’s historic Corinthian capitals.
