We have organised for a professional Fireworks company to launch 400ft high mortar fireworks above the Grade II listed Oasis dome to mark the exact 50th anniversary the Oasis opened its doors. 1st January 1976 - 1st January 2026.
The aim of the display is to celebrate Swindon's beloved landmark and show Seven Capital and SBC there is still love and desire to see the place reopened.
We have obtained permission from Seven Capital for this to happen. The main aim of the fireworks is to provide an awesome, rare spectacle and get some great drone footage and photos.
Please note this isn't a proper marshalled "event" like the Polo Ground or Lydiard, due to the Oasis Car Park being closed. We recommend walking only.
If the fireworks are cancelled due to poor weather we will reschedule them.
