IT'S TIME TO RESERVE YOUR OASIS ARTCARD TO SUPPORT Oasis Counseling for Women & Children.The mission of Oasis Counseling for Women and Children is to improve the quality of life for vulnerable women, children, and families by providing exceptional, professional mental health care in a safe and nurturing environment.
IMPORTANT DATES
• Starting April 22: Reserve your ArtCard at https://www.alabamaart.com/products/oasis-artcard-stretched-canvas-various-sizes-oasis
• May 25: Please bring your completed ArtCard or Donated Art to Alabama Art Supply on or before May 25th.
• June 6th, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm: The ArtCard Event at Oasis Counseling for Women & Children, 1900 14th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35205
ABOUT THE OASIS ARTCARD FUNDRAISER:
Oasis Women and Children’s Counseling Center holds an annual fundraiser every June to support their efforts of helping women, children, and families with counseling services for an affordable, sliding-scale fee. At the fundraiser, ticket holders will be able to buy original ArtCard canvases in 12x12, 11x14, 12x16, and 16x20 for $60, while enjoying food, music, and libations. Tickets for non-participating guests are available for $35 from the Oasis website at https://artcard.swell.gives/
ABOUT THE ARTCARD CANVASES AND DONATED ART:
• Alabama Art Supply will distribute the ArtCard canvases from the store.
• Artisans and painters can donate their original art with a retail value of $60 or more in place of using an ArtCard canvas.
• Completed ArtCard canvases, as well as other, donated art including original paintings, canvas art, framed art, ceramics, photography, jewelry, glasswork, metalwork, etc, should be returned by May 25th. Extensions may be granted as we get closer to the event date.
• Artists will receive one FREE ticket per ArtCard or donated artwork with a retail value of $60 to the June 6th Event, which will be sent directly from Oasis. We will collect the Artist’s name and email for EVERY ArtCard and piece of donated art so Oasis can credit the ticket to the proper person.
• EVERYONE, including children, non-artists, hobbyists, and professional artists, is more than welcome to create an ArtCard canvas or donate original art. All ArtCards, whether made by a child or professional artist, will be sold for $60.
• Some donated artworks may be placed in the silent auction held at the event.
