Jukka Kääriäinen is a musician focused on experimental music. Depending on the situation, Jukka's instruments of choice include an acoustic guitar with preparations or an electric guitar with a bag full of effects. Kääriäinen has performed in many European countries and at international festivals in the United Kingdom, Spain, and France. In addition to solo concerts, he regularly performs in bands and has collaborated with many leading European improvisers such as Teppo Hauta-Aho, Kalle Kalima, Harri Sjöström, Axel Dörner, Kriton Beyer, Rieko Okuda, Anil Eraslan, Mikko Innanen, and Joel Grip, premiering works by composers such as Riikka Talvitie, Sebastian Hilli, Sami Klemola, Clara de Asis, and Tytti Arola.

Jonathan Bäckström is a double bassist and composer from Kronoby, Finland. He works within the broader spectrum of jazz, free improvisation and contemporary music. Currently based in Helsinki, he will be relocating to Stockholm in September to pursue a master’s program at the Royal Academy of Music. He has composed works for his quartet, for solo double bass and for other projects he has been involved with. Blending composition with free improvisation, his works aim to create a microcosm that explores the relationship between performer and composer, fostering an environment for innovation and reflection.

KATT HERNANDEZ - fiol
Katt är en sann mästare på sitt instrument! Hon har tidigare spelat på Oasens öppna scen - ikväll får vi höra henne solo. Lyssna på några av de senaste projekt hon medverkat i här nedan.
Katt Hernandez is a violinist, radiophonic artist and activist. She moved to Stockholm in 2010, and rapidly began working with many artists and music organizations in the city. In addition to her solo projects, she has collaborated with a host of artists in a swath of music and sound scenes in Europe. After earning a Masters in composition from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 2015, she then earned a PhD at Lund university, entitled The Ephemeral City: Songs for the Ghost Quarters, at the end of 2023. It is comprised of a group of multichannel, field recording, synthesizer, string and organ works about the psychogeography of Stockholm, and the importance of our inner-most imaginary cities. In recent years, she has also worked with Klas Nevrin's project Music in Disorder, Fire! Orchestra, GGR Betong, multi-disciplinary artist Björn-Ola Lind, Dennis Egberth's sextet, Butoh artist KAI-EN, songwriter and poet Rotem Geffen, Lotte Anker's subhabitat project, Vilhelm Bromander's Unfolding Orchestra, and in a new trio with Hein Westergaard and Raymond Strid – amongst a host of others. Her work has been featured at festivals, series, museums, conferences and radio stations throughout the world.
