Oakland Rotary Thursday Club Meeting – Youth Speech Contest

The Rotary Club of Oakland invites members and guests to our Thursday Club Meeting featuring the Annual Youth Speech Contest, part of Rotary’s long-standing commitment to youth leadership and civic engagement.

This year’s contest theme is “Service Above Self.”
Student participants will deliver prepared speeches reflecting on the meaning of service, leadership, and community impact.

The speech contest celebrates the voices of young leaders and encourages thoughtful expression, confidence, and public speaking excellence.

• 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Meeting & Speech Contest
