Register now to walk with PG&E PrideNetwork for the Oakland Pride March! Friends and family are also welcome (even if they haven't registered separately)! Volunteer waivers will available and required to sign before the march.
When? Sunday, September 4, 2022. Parade starts at 10:30am!
- You can arrive as early as 9 AM and plan to arrive no later than 10:00 AM
Where? Meeting around 14th St. & Broadway
- Parking may be limited along Broadway, so consider taking public transportation or find a nearby parking structure!
Logistics
- Distance/Route: Parade will be approximately 0.4 miles beginning at 14th St & Broadway, and ending at 20th St & Broadway.
- What to Wear: PrideNetwork or other blue PG&E shirts encouraged! Rainbow accessories are very welcome!
- We will have some extra PrideNetwork shirts to distribute for those who do not have one. Sizes are limited, so if you already have one definitely plan to wear it!
- Parade participants will also receive a custom PG&E PrideNetwork mask!
- Water/Food: Light snacks and water will be provided, but you may want to have a light breakfast before heading down!
- Save the planet, reduce plastic waste, and bring your own water in re-useable containers!
Safety - Safety is always first!
- Bring a PG&E safety vest if you have one!
- Bring sunscreen and water
- Bring a mask (if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask)
o PLEASE NOTE: There has been a recent upward trend in COVID-19 cases, even among vaccinated individuals. Parades are events with large crowds where distancing may not always be possible. Stay informed of local rules, specific event rules, and make informed safety decisions that are right for you and your family.
