Oakland Art Library Third Thursday Returns!

It is finally here! Our first Oakland Art Library Third Thursday event since Jan of 2020! A lot has changed since then, on both sides of the Art Library doors. We have moved locations to the lovely neighborhood of Rockridge, only 1 block away from BART. Our new space is set up more like a gallery space than our last location, and we are next door to many shops, restaurants, and even a few bars.

We've got lots a new art on our walls, new artists, and new art from some of our artists who have been with us since our beginning.

We will have DJ Ammbush playing some tunes for us in the early part of the evening followed by some acoustic music to end the night. Plus some live interactive art with our artists.

There will also be some local drinks available by donation.

And we encourage all to take public transit and/or ride your bicycles if possible! Leave a lower footprint, and avoid looking for parking.

June 15th, the mask mandate will be lifted just in time for Third Thursday and we are excited to celebrate together. We will have our double doors open and encourage all to be as safe as possible. Looking forward to seeing our community of art, artists, members, and patrons come together, we've missed you all!
