Save the date for for Oakland's 2025 Special Election candidate forum!
Hosted by Greenbelt Alliance, Housing Action Coalition, and East Bay for Everyone, the forum will host candidates for Oakland Mayor and Oakland City Council District 2, including*:
- Barbara Lee (Mayor)
- Loren Taylor (Mayor)
- Renia Webb (Mayor)
- Charlene Wang (District 2)
- Kara Murray-Badal (District 2)
Both seats are open due to vacancies and must be filled by a special election on April 15th, 2025. We're excited to hear from the candidates and learn how they will address some of Oakland's most pressing issues around housing and the environment.
