Who are we? What is this place? How did we get here? Why is this the way it is? These are the questions that we'll explore at this year's Open Air Institute held August 4-6th, 2026 from 8:30am -3:30pm. At each location we visit (stay tuned for the details!), we'll learn, write, and share. You'll finish the 3 days feeling more connected to our state, your fellow teachers, and your writer-self.
The cost will be $100 for educators and $40 for teacher candidates.
