About this Event
You've tried therapy, meditation apps, breathwork routines. They help a little. But they don't bring you home.
Because they don't speak the language your nervous system actually understands: pleasure.
Not as reward. As signal. As the way your body tells you: this is coherent, this is me, this is home.
What happens:
- (75 min): The science—centrality, pleasure as technology, cyclical intelligence
- Mechanics (45 min): I demonstrate. We practice together. Form and alignment.
- The Portal (90 min): Immersive experience. Five movement phases mirroring your nervous system's arousal cycle—safety, sensation, charge, surrender, integration.
- Integration (30 min): We witness. We share. Individual experience becomes collective intelligence.
What you leave with: Breath practices, pelvic awareness, dearmoring techniques. Evidence in your body that regulation feels like.
Trauma-informed. Fully clothed. No touching. Optional at every stage.
Led by Maryam Lopes — Biology (UW), Hypnotherapist, 190K followers, founder Ashiratantra
Limited to 20 participants. Bring your wearable—your experience becomes research.
Agenda
🕑: 01:00 PM - 02:15 PM
Framework
Info: Lecture-style.You'll understand why your nervous system works this way—and why everything you've tried hasn't worked.
You'll learn:
Centrality: Why you orbit instead of radiate. Were you authorized to be a source? Understanding displacement vs. sovereignty.
Pleasure as Technology: How pleasure is your body's primary regulatory signal (not reward). The trust loop: sensation → safety → deeper trust.
Cyclical Intelligence: How your menstrual cycle creates windows when your nervous system is more receptive and capable of deeper states. Your sensitivity is precision, not dysfunction.
Collective Coherence: What happens when nervous systems synchronize in groups. How your body borrows regulation from being in the room with others.
🕑: 02:20 PM - 03:00 PM
The Mechanics
Info: Demonstration + hands-on practice. Form and alignment before putting in together in a sequence. I show you exactly what we'll do in The Portal. Then we practice foundational elements together so your body knows the form.
You'll learn and practice:
Vagus nerve activation (humming, toning, movements that signal safety)
Jaw-pelvis release (softening guard tension most women hold)
Pelvic awareness (tilts, circles, figure-8s, squeeze-release)
Breath patterns (calming breath vs. activating breath)
Sound as release (how vocalization moves stuck energy)
Movement fundamentals (hip opening, spinal undulations, grounding)
Then: Your questions. We address concerns, normalize discomfort, clarify boundaries.
You won't be surprised by anything that happens next.
🕑: 03:05 PM - 04:35 PM
The Portal
Info: The Portal (90 minutes)
Immersive somatic experience. Your nervous system does the learning.
Five movement phases mirroring how your body naturally builds and releases arousal. Music. Guided cues. Move at your own pace.
✅ Fully clothed ✅ No touching ✅ You control participation ✅ Trauma-informed ✅ Optional at every stage
Phase 1: Safety signaling + grounding (10 min) — Standing sequence, creating conditions for your body to feel present
Phase 2: Awakening sensation + pelvic activation (20 min) — Kneeling/seated, reconnecting with parts of your body you may have numbed
Phase 3: Building charge + holding intensity (20 min) — Floor sequence, learning to hold more aliveness without collapsing, moving between control and letting go
Phase 4: Non-ordinary states (20 min) — Deep breathwork, guided journey, possible peak experiences
Phase 5: Integration (20 min) — Completing the cycle, guided return to center.
🕑: 04:35 PM - 05:05 PM
Integration + Research
Info: Sharing circle. Witnessing. Optional data collection.
What happened? We gather. We notice patterns. Not analysis—recognition.
What did you feel? What surprised you? What wants to be named?
Individual experience becomes collective intelligence. You realize: "We all felt that shift." You recognize: "I'm not alone in this." You understand: "My body knows what it's doing."
Optional research: If you brought a wearable (Oura, Apple Watch, Whoop), we collect data on how your nervous system responded—heart rate patterns, recovery, how long the effects last. Your participation helps prove these practices work at a measurable level.
This is how we move from personal experience to scientific evidence.
