'O Brave New World' In Person CPD Workshop & Film Screening

The film explores the potential of collaboration between the arts, criminal justice and higher education and is a unique documentary film (30 minutes) that takes you directly into HMP New Hall and follows a durational weekly collaborative arts project delivered by York St John University Pr*son Partnership Project and KPPL Productions in response to the Donmar Warehouse all female play The Tempest led by Harriet Walter.

The CPD workshop will offer an introduction into collaborative & relational theatre practice in a female Pr*son setting through the long standing knowledge and experience of Rachel Conlon, Senior Lecturer and Director of the York St John University Pr*son Partnership Project and Jordana Golbourn, Community Theatre Maker who worked as the Artist Facilitator and Researcher on the Donmar Warehouse Shakespeare on Screen in Prisons project. Jordana has also worked for companies such as Clean Break, Almeida Theatre, Lyric Hammersmith and Young Vic Theatre as a facilitator, producer and director.

Parking

There is no parking for any vehicles on site and ANPR cameras are in operation 24/7.

We have a small number of Blue Badge spaces available, these spaces can only be used if guests have pre registered their number plates by emailing [email protected].

Registering your details does not guarantee a space, as they operate on a first come, first served basis. Please ensure your blude badge is displayed clearly in the vehicle.
