NZIER 2025 Summer Reading List for the Prime Minister

NZIER and Unity Books are providing the Prime Minister and all New Zealanders with summer reading options. This year's panel has chosen a diverse selection of books that present various perspectives, innovative ideas, and tackle contemporary issues facing New Zealand.

While NZIER may not endorse every word in the selected books, we assure you they will offer valuable food for thought. We encourage New Zealanders to read, reflect deeply, and engage in discussions with one another. Summer is the perfect time for that.
