Christchurch! We're heading your way!You may have seen some of the events we run in Auckland. We're finally bringing them to you! Details are these:
Friday 28th June:
Meet & greet. Details to come. Save the date.
Saturday 29th June: 10:00am - Noon:
Introduction & Induction to the Acting Industry.
Part of the reason NZAEN was started was because of the obvious lack of guidance in how to build a career in the arts. People, with very hit and miss results, had to find their own way.
This session covers the A-B-C's of starting out and also, how to push yourself forward in a competitive industry.
Saturday 29th June: 12:30pm - 3:30pm
Here we will cover:
- Essential acting methods & techniques used in the industry.
- Building a character or scene. (in part, using said methods.)
- Auditions & self tape auditions.
Cost: $20 for 1 session or $30 for both.
(Cash at the door.)
STICK AROUND A LITTLE AFTERWARDS:
After these sessions we might have those that want to introduce yourself to camera to share with the greater team.
