New York’s Finest was founded on a dare for a classic album tribute night in New York City. The Challenge: “Can you guys perform The Police’s 1st album?” Challenge accepted! “NYF’s” tribute steers concert fans through The Police’s early punk era and evolves to the more sophisticated material of their later records and Sting’s solo catalog
“NYF” stays true to the 3 band member line up of The Police while they tap into the signature style of the funky reggae pop rock fusion that Sting & The Police made a global phenomenon.
