NYE Fireworks Sail on Tallship Rhona H

Join the general public for a casual, seven-hour New Year’s Eve fireworks and stargazing sail aboard the classic timber tallship Rhona H.
The sail
Board and return at Barangaroo, Crown Casino. Rhona H positions close to the Opera House and Fort Denison for views of the Harbour Bridge and the 9pm and midnight fireworks. Between the displays, the boat leaves the spectator fleet behind, switches off its engine and sails under the stars in the outer harbour. The crew handles the boat, points out landmarks and city lights, and sets the sails when it is safe to do so.
Food and drinks
Grazing platters and cheese boards are served canapé style by the crew throughout the night. Drinks are BYO; on request, the crew will serve and ice them. The vessel does not hold a liquor licence.
Good to know
- Maximum 24 guests—an intimate alternative to the big party boats.
- Wear soft-soled shoes and bring warm layers.
- Bring a small personal bag only.
- Departure times will be confirmed closer to the date.
