NYE at AFLOAT 2024/25 - Main Deck

This New Year's Eve, Afloat and Arbory Bar & Eatery are throwing an epic "Italo Disco" themed party across the two venues.

A party for the ages, the evening will channel the golden era of ‘70s and ‘80s Italy, transporting you to the coast of Capri with disco balls and funky tunes.

There’ll be fireworks, flowing drinks, roaming canapés, a live Italo-Disco Renaissance from self-proclaimed “international diva” Tanzer and tunes by some of Melbourne’s best DJs (including Mondo Ritmo, DJ JNETT, Mafia and Hans DC) so you can dance the year away.

For those that want to join in on the fun, we'd love you to dress the part and don your favourite sequins, your highest platform shoes, bell bottoms, silk blouses and gold lamé.

Doors open at 6.00pm, with the event package kicking off at 8.00pm. Venue closes at 1.00am.

Additional information:

– Canapé package food menus to come. Most dietaries can be catered for, please ensure you inform staff on arrival.

– This is a stand-up canapé event with tables available on a first come first serve basis. We recommend arriving early to secure a table.

– Afloat is an accessible venue with a variety of wheelchair and disability friendly dining options on the main deck. If you require an accessible NYE ticket, please reach out to our events & reservations team via [email protected].

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

– Tickets can be cancelled and refunded no less than 7 days prior to the event start time, after which time refunds will not be available.

– Wait List: If your desired ticket is sold out, please join our waitlist for further updates. In the event that your desired ticket becomes available, we can refund any other tickets purchased up until 7 days prior to the event. To organise a refund, please follow the links in your ticket confirmation email as we do not accept refund requests via email, phone or in person.

Terms and Conditions:

– RSA: Afloat takes its responsible service of alcohol seriously. Please encourage your guests to drink responsibly as no refund can be offered if a guest is asked to leave due to intoxication or anti-social behaviour.

Please note - due to responsible service of alcohol obligations, shots are not available in any packages but can be purchased on the night. All spirits ordered within the package will be served with mixers added. The drinks package is available from the bar.

– This is an 18+ only event. Please ensure all guests are carrying valid proof of age.

– All ticket prices incur an additional Eventbrite charge of 2% plus a ticketing fee of $3.00 per ticket.

– Afloat is an outdoor venue. While substantial umbrella cover is available, we suggest guests bring rain protection such as umbrellas or raincoats in the event of inclement weather.

– If the event needs to be modified or cancelled due to unforeseen or external extenuating circumstances, such as COVID-19 restrictions, full refunds will be issued.

IMPORTANT: Please ensure you select the correct tickets (ie Arbory Bar & Eatery OR Afloat Main Deck OR Afloat Upper Deck VIP) as once tickets for an area/venue are sold out, you will not be able to change them due to very restrictive government guidelines on capacities.

If purchasing tickets for other guests please ensure you provide each with a different QR code ticket to ensure swift entry. When arriving to venue check signage to ensure you're in the correct line (there is 1 at Arbory located at the princess bridge entry and 2 for Afloat - Main Deck GA & Upper Deck/VIP/Package). Tickets QR code is required for entry via print out or phone. We ask you have this ready and if on phone; screen brightness up high.
