About this Event
Known for their synergy and near-telepathic abilities on and off the bandstand, New York City-based identical twins Eytan (bass) and Gabriel (piano) lead vibrant careers in jazz and can be found regularly performing at NYC household & historic venues with jazz heavyweights Christopher McBride, Akira Tana, Mike King, Erena Terakubo, Mike Olmos, Lucas Pino, Tim Green, Tyreek Mcdole, Lawrence Fields, Wayne Escofferey and more.
Sharing the stage with Eytan and Gabriel on alto saxophone is Langston Hughes II (sax with Wynton Marsalis' Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Lauryn Hill, The Temptations, Jazzmeia Horn, Orrin Evans, Ulysses Owns Jr.'s Generation Y Band and more).
Between the three of them, Gabriel, Eytan, and Langston have played SFJAZZ, Dizzy's Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Monterey Jazz Festival, The Kennedy Center, DC Jazz Fest, Mid-Atlantic Jazz Fest, Blues Alley, Keystone Corner, The Django, Ornithology, Black Cat, Minton's Playhouse, The Cotton Castle (Tokyo) and more.
The group will perform a selection of original music in addition to music by legendary jazz pianists (Thelonious Monk, Bill Evans,Cedar Walton, Ahmad Jamal, Duke Ellington, Chick Corea, and Keith Jarrett), and other giants of the bop and post-bop eras.
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door general admission; $12 advance, $15 at the door for students with ID. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.
