On this #TransDayOfVisibility, we celebrate The Iconic Cristina La Veneno, a spanish transgender trailblazer who shattered barriers for trans visibility. Rising to fame in the 1990s as a bold and charismatic TV personality, La Veneno's story began amidst significant challenges as a sex worker. Despite the stigma she faced, her fearless authenticity and unapologetic presence captivated audiences and sparked critical conversations about trans rights and representation in Spain. Her resilience, courage, and refusal to conform made her an enduring symbol of empowerment and a source of inspiration for trans people everywhere.
Tonight’s theme: Bring your best La Veneno-inspired look! Choose a look from her real life or from the TV series Veneno, created in her honor.
