NYC Brooklyn Space Office Hours

Black Girls Smile is opening the doors of BGS Commons for Open Hours,
a recurring space designed to be exactly what our community needs.
About this Event

Every Monday and Wednesday this fall and winter, BGS Commons becomes a third space — not home, not school or work, just a place to land. Drop in to study, journal, decompress, connect with other Black girls and femmes, or simply exist without needing to perform or produce. Whether you're stopping through for twenty minutes or staying the whole afternoon, the space is yours to use.

Expect a warm, low-pressure environment stocked with comfortable seating, wifi, light refreshments, and community — with staff and peers present, not programming a session. Open Hours is the through-line that connects our other Fall/Winter offerings, giving the community a consistent, welcoming home base between events.
