NYC Bookstore Crawl

Join us on a walkable daytreat to East Village NYC! We are shooting to catch a MetroNorth train from New Haven around 8 AM. We arrive in Grand Central and will take the subway to Union Station, once at Union Station everything is in walking distance! We will visit 4 bookstores and two restaurants. Shooting to catch a train back to New Haven around 7 PM to get us home a little before midnight.

If you would like to drive with me I can fit 3 people in my car, first come first serve, and we will be leaving about 6 AM from the bookstore.

$60 tickets covers roundtrip MetroNorth and subway rides. Other spending money for meals and shopping are at your own discretion. You can go off on your own for food, or join the group at The Smith for brunch and Ready Cantina rooftop restaurant for dinner. If you are joinging the group please let me know so I can make reservations.

Stop #1: The Strand (we will spend about an hour here as it is very large)

Stop #2: Brunch at The Smith

Stop #3: Pillow Cat Books (most likely a half hour here as it's on the smaller size)

Stop #4: East Village Books (most likely a half hour here)

Stop #5: Book Club Bar (probably an hour here as larger and if people want a drink)

Stop #6: Dinner at the Ready Cantina, a rooftop Mexican spot
