NYC 10TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY & LATTE ART THROWDOWN

New York, let’s party! To celebrate 10 years of Caffe Vita in New York City, we’re hosting a Latte Art Throwdown at our roastery/training lab in Bushwick. Prizes include a trip to Seattle CoffeeFest, custom sneakers, a year supply of Minor Figures oat milk, and more! There will be food, drinks, and live music by DJ b_line_dot, all hosted by Caffe Vita Director of Coffee Sam Spillman.

Come one come all! Everyone is invited to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our Lower Eastside cafe. Whether you're a long-time regular, a wholesale account, or friend of Vita, we'd love to celebrate with you. Sign-up via Eventbrite for free entry which includes free food, drinks, and more. All are welcome to witness the Latte Art Throwdown, or just kick-it on the rooftop with a live DJ.

COMPETITORS

Register via Eventbrite to compete! There will be a $5 buy-in in-person. Sign-ups start at 5pm, throwdown at 6pm. First come, first signed up. You must be registered on Eventbrite to sign up. Personal pitchers are welcome, personal vessels are not. Latte artists will compete on a La Marzocco Linea PB with a Mazzer Kony E grinder using Caffe Vita’s Caffe Del Sol blend and whole milk, with one Minor Figures oat milk round.

Caffe Vita's first wholesale customer in New York City, back when it all happened at our LES Ludlow location. Australian Co-owners Samantha Hannaford and Johnathon Garvey, founded M&G Foodstuff back in 2013 after moving to NYC to pursue their careers in the catering and events world. Both are genuine food lovers with a wealth of experience and knowledge between them and a passion for creating beautifully simplistic and honest food which highlights the importance of seasonality and responsible sourcing of produce and ingredients.
