Game Development with Scratch

WeCode KC presents game development with Scratch! The sky is the limit as we explore concepts in gaming and technology for a hands-on journey that merges fun, learning, and coding.

Participants will engage with game development, creativity, and team building. Don't miss this unforgettable experience at the intersection of gaming and coding!

Students ages 7 - 17 are welcome to attend this class. If you are unsure, we recommend that students possess the following basic skills to succeed in our classes:

• able to use a computer keyboard and mouse
• able to read and understand short sentences
• able to sit still and focus for at least 45 minutes

Our goal is to provide a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for every student who wants to learn. If you have a student who is eager to attend classes but does not meet the above criteria or has special needs, ADHD, ASD, or other conditions that might be disruptive to the instructor or the other students, you MAY come to class with your student. While WeCodeKC strives to serve all students interested in coding, IT, and web development, our instructors are dedicated professionals who work in their respective fields and volunteer to teach. They are not professional educators. We appreciate your help in making WeCodeKC's classrooms safe and welcoming for all!
