NWG Child Exploitation Faith Forum

The NWG Faith Forum will bring together faith leaders and those from faith-based organisations to work with safeguarding partners from across the country to identify what is helping and hindering safeguarding work in the faith sector.

The NWG forums provide a platform for networking and enable solution-focused conversations to strengthen the faith sector's response to safeguarding.

We welcome inputs from network members to share learning on individual journeys to share and promote emerging and promising practices.

The faith sector is increasingly being recognised as a key safeguarding partner agency and we want to continue and promote this as we recognise the influence that faith has on communities.

This responds to evidence of need from IICSA (independent enquiry into child exploitation) regarding child sexual abuse and is about improving safeguarding culture in faith-based communities.
