NUX Sheffield - My 7 C's of Content Design

Welcome back to NUX Sheffield! This event will be hosted a tSheffield Hallam University and food will be provided by NUX on Thursday 6th November. Once you enter the Charles Street building head for the lifts and floor #4 and look for NUX volunteers.

Join Sophie, a self-proclaimed captain of content, as she navigates her Seven C’s of Content Design. She’ll demystify this often-overlooked discipline, sharing her insights on writing with clarity, empathy, and purpose — and how great content can make or break a user experience.

To close the evening, we’ll take part in an interactive content design exercise, putting Sophie’s techniques into practice as we explore creative ways to name and describe a new feature or product. Expect plenty of ideas, discussion, and laughter along the way.

Info: A keen psychology postgraduate with an interest in media, Sophie entered the corporate world on a digital marketing graduate scheme. She has since leant her skills to brands like GO Outdoors, JD Sports and Girlguiding. Sophie now works as a Senior Content Designer in the UX team at Bupa spreading digital accessibility awareness and the joy of a good pun.
