Nuthatch Retreats - Men's Campfire Collective

Seeking camaraderie, adventure and break from the daily grind?

Gather around a roaring campfire, and join our men's campfire collective!

We hope this will be a monthly event to get some blokes together to kick back, relax and connect with each and appreciate the great outdoors.

Situated in its own secluded, private plot within Fryland Scouts Centre, Heartwood is an ideal base to connect with the local nature.

Located within 60 acres of ancient woodland at Frylands, the natural wildlife is abundant with a variety of birds and even the occasional deer, badger, dormouse,bat and fox . We've even seen birds of prey over the site. Hopefully we'll hear the woodland tawny owls again.

We'll do a night walk around the site, then relax by the fire with a simple practical activity such as woodland craft or cooking by the fire. You can join in or just chat with the guys.

We'll hold a safe and comfortable space to be yourself in the great outdoors.

We aim to provide a light supper of soup or similar.

The group will be led by Neil Peters, father of two, who founded Nuthatch Retreats locally with the aim of getting out of the office and into the outdoors, and Damian Clark, woodland expert.
