South Carolina Ballet is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming production of The Nutcracker! Join us on Sunday, October 13th at the School of Dance Arts, located at 1001 S Cashua Dr Suite A, Florence.This is a fantastic opportunity for children to immerse themselves in the magical world of dance and share the stage with our professional company dancers.
Audition Schedule:
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Male & Female Dancers, ages 4-6
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Male & Female Dancers, ages 7-10
3:00 PM – 4:00 PM Male & Female Dancers, ages 11 & up (Bring pointe shoes for those en pointe over 2 years)
Audition Fee:
Online: $20 (ends Oct 11th at 6:00 pm)(Discounted rate)
On the Day: $25
Please note, if you are paying on the day, we only accept cash or checks (checks should be made out to South Carolina Ballet).
Dress Code:
Ladies: Black leotard, pink tights, hair in a slick bun, lip and cheek color with light eye shadow
Gentlemen: White leotard or plain white tee shirt, black tights and black shoes, or black tights with white socks and white shoes

Performance Dates:
Performances will be on December 18th & 19th at 7:00 pm.
Rehearsal Dates:
Rehearsal Dates: Afternoons of November 17th, 24th, and December 8th, & 15th
Rehearsal times will be provided with notification of acceptance.
