Nutcracker Community Cast Auditions

We are pleased to announce that The Allen Civic Ballet will hold auditions for its 2026 production of the “Nutcracker” ballet to be presented at the Performing Arts Center at Allen High School in December. This is a professional quality production with costumes, scenery, professional guest artists and a full, live orchestra.
Auditions will be held on August 22nd & 29th at:
The Allen Conservatory of Dance
602 E. Main St., Suite E
Allen, TX

Who can Audition: We are seeking dancers ages 5+ for a variety of roles –
Dancers Ages 5-8 1:00-2:30 pm
Dancers Ages 9+ 2:30-4:00 pm
Attire: All female dancers should arrive in a solid color leotard, tights, and ballet slippers and males in athletic shorts or ballet leggings and white t-shirt and dance shoes.
Audition Results: Dancers will be notified via email by September 5th. Please refrain from calling or emailing the Allen Civic Ballet and Allen Conservatory of Dance regarding audition results.
Performance Dates: December 2026 (tentatively)
Students will need to be available for Saturday rehearsals and both performance dates.
