Course Description: Join us for the Nursing Stroke Conference as we explore current advances in stroke care, including rapid diagnosis, early intervention, updated treatment guidelines, and expert nursing management in acute and critical care environments. · Review the aspects of high blood pressure, low blood pressure, and blood pressure variability.

· Discuss the impact blood pressure control has on acute brain injury, hemorrhage, and ischemia.

· Apply evidence-based strategies to safely manage blood pressure in acute stroke patients, balancing cerebral perfusion with the risk of complications.

· Analyze the spectrum of neurosurgical pathologies, highlighting key differences in presentation, diagnostic approaches, and management strategies.

· Explain the organization and functional significance of the cortical homunculus, including how motor and sensory representation correlates with specific regions of the body.
