Guidelines for Abstract SubmissionThis is an announcement for submission of an abstract for the conference entitled “Leading Innovation for Nursing & Midwifery Education, Policy and Practice” from Maharajgunj Nursing Campus, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, Nepal.
• Abstract must be clear, concise in English language.
• Must be typed double space with font type Times New Roman, font size 12
• Word limit 300.
• The abstract should be free of grammatical and spelling errors.
• The title should be in title case, complete and concise without abbreviations.
• Must be in structured format.
• The abstract should contain :
1. Introduction: Background of study i.e. nature of problem and its significance reflecting the relevancy with citation in Vancouver style. State the specific purpose/objective and hypothesis (if applicable).
2. Methods: Study design, population and sampling, sample size, ethical approval, data collection procedures (methods, instrument) and data analysis techniques.
3. Results: Present results in logical sequence. Give numeric numbers and absolute numbers from which derivatives (%) were calculated.
4. Conclusion: Link the conclusion with the main objective(s) & major findings.
5. Key words: 3-5 in alphabetical order, separated by comma (,).
6. References : in Vancouver style
7. Keep the authorship on the top of the title.
8. Please include your contact details including reachable mobile number, viber, WhatsApp.
• The scientific committee will review the abstracts for acceptance.
• After acceptance of the abstract, committee will decide the mode of presentation (Oral or Poster).
• The committee reserves the right to reproduce the abstract in abstract book (print/electronic).
• By submission of an abstract, in case of acceptance, the author transfers copyright ownership to the scientific committee for the abstract. If the author is interested to publish his/her full text article, it will be considered for publication in JONEN Vol 15.
• The deadline for abstract submission is 32nd Shrawan, 2081 (16th August 2024)
• Notification of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by 7th Bhadra, 2081 (23rd August) via given e-mail of the author.
• All submissions will be acknowledged by email, so provide email address of corresponding author with mobile number. Along with abstract, forwarding letter containing the name and complete address of authors with clear indication of corresponding author and must be signed by all authors. Conflict of interest must be announced with the forwarding letter.
• The committee reserves the right for rejection of any submitted abstract.
