Nuestra Tierra Conservation Project invites you to a free film screening showcasing the incredible impact of the New Mexico Outdoor Equity Fund (OEF) - the first program of its kind connecting underserved youth with life-changing outdoor experiences.

Following Lands, Water & Wildlife Day at the New Mexico Legislature (aka the Roundhouse in Santa Fe), meet OEF grant recipients, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and learn how we can expand outdoor access for all New Mexicans! This is your chance to support a program that's creating the next generation of land stewards and outdoor leaders.

The New Mexico Outdoor Equity Fund is a first-of-its-kind program that supports transformative outdoor experiences that foster stewardship, respect for the land, and create pathways to outdoor-related careers for low-income youth across New Mexico. In 2024, the Outdoor Equity Fund was able to award just over $850k in funding - thanks in large part to the Land of Enchantment Legacy Fund.

Advocates for New Mexico's pioneering OEF are requesting an $8 million allocation to help bridge the significant gap between community needs and available resources while establishing sustainable long-term funding mechanisms for fiscal years 2025-2027.
