Join us for the new Nudge Eco Store midtown pop up event. Come check out the new shop, visit with us and also local makers. We'll be there to chat about how our compost operation is going and our plans to grow our service to the community. We will also be signing people up for our food scrap collection subscription and handing out collection buckets to new subscribers. This will also be a community Food Scrap Drop Off pop up location for this event. This means you can bring us your frozen food scraps when you come to check out the pop up event.
Saturday June 12th, from 11am-4pm.
FOOD SCRAP DROP OFF:
Please bring your food scraps FROZEN to help us reduce smell and prevent it from attracting pests. ALSO, it kills any eggs of any fruit flies that have found their way into your food scraps so they don't enter our worm bins. Even if you freeze it the night before bringing it, that is all we need.
If you have a rabbit, we would love their droppings and you can drop them off too!
Keeping food scraps out of landfills has its perks:
*Your kitchen garbage is much less smelly
*Save room in your weekly garbage collection bin, maybe enough to downgrade to a smaller bin with cheaper service
*When composted, food scraps become food for healthy soil, replenishing nutrients naturally to gardens and the soil in our community.
