In collaboration with Felt Sound System, The RA KHOLECTIV, Orchestrated Discontent and War On Want, Nᴜ Eᴀʀᴛʜ Gʀᴏᴏᴠᴇ brings together some of London’s finest underground musicians for an event unlike any other.
Designed to cultivate hope and action, built hand in hand with grassroots organisers and creatives at the forefront of change, through ɢʟᴏʙᴀʟ, ᴜʀʙᴀɴ, ᴊᴀᴢᴢ-ꜰᴜɴᴋ ʟɪʙᴇʀᴀᴛɪᴏɴ ᴍᴜꜱɪᴄ.
Deeply inspired by Steamdown, Sons Of Kemet and Sarathy Korwar, expect rhythms from Afrika, Asia and Latin Amerika, to liberate the body, spirit and mind.
An 8-piece house band, heavy on brass, bass and drums: built of musicians currently taking London by a storm, almost entirely improvising: creating together, in the moment, with you.
We come together to practice and build our collective liberation.
Felt Sound System is a heavyweight high fidelity sound system & collective with a strong community focus, an eclectic array of DJs, and known for it joyous street parties, bound to get you dancing -
With the sound system placed in the legendary shell of Lordship Rec (pictured above) the sonic experience is unlike any other....
This event is designed to remind us of the beauty of community, of coming together and of moving together, as vibration transports us.
Come through and let loose, as we gather ourselves and our spirits to continue creating the world we want to see.
ɴᴜ ᴇᴀʀᴛʜ ɢʀᴏᴏᴠᴇ will open with community discussions - on how we build a better society and what that could look like - before transitioning into a ‘Nu Earth Soul’ set: meditative music to hold & release, closing the night ‘Nu Earth Groove’ sounds: high energy global liberation music to make you move.
Dotted throughout the night will be moments of speakers sharing how we can get involved in community work and organise together.
It’s designed to be a meeting and entrance point for the sharing of this information and our collective liberation work, and a place where we can be held, share joy, dance and release.
A space for us to hold ourselves in our grief, to release, to gather, to raise our spirits together as we continue to organise for our siblings right here and across the globe.

This is an invitation to collectively discuss urgent questions with the community such as: how do we strengthen our communities, building resilience in the face of fascism and societal collapse? How do we provide material support to international movements fighting genocide and colonialism? We want to focus on practical solutions - while bathed in the sounds and spirits of our living ancestral traditions.
In future we hope to hold space for the community to also bring questions to discuss, so please do communicate with our facilitators if you have a question you'd like to discuss.
Stalls with information on how to get involved with organising will also be present and speakers will be available to answer any questions / discuss throughout the night.
