Rakhi Sood — Dance Artist & Choreographer
A dynamic performer and teacher, Rakhi brings the grace of Kathak, the energy of Bollywood, and the vibrancy of Bhangra to the stage. Trained in classical dance and sitar from an early age, she is known for her innovative teaching style and her ability to connect audiences with the joy and storytelling of Indian dance.
Dr Pooja Angra — Vocalist
One of the UK’s most celebrated Indian classical and semi‑classical vocalists, Pooja’s mellifluous voice has captivated audiences from All India Radio to the BBC, from the Nehru Centre to festivals across the UK. With a PhD in Indian music and a career spanning Hindustani classical, devotional, Sufi, Bollywood, ghazal and Punjabi folk traditions, she brings depth, artistry and emotional resonance to every performance
Mitel Purohit — Tabla Percussionist
Among the most sought‑after tabla players in the UK, Mitel’s mastery of the Benaras style and his flair for global musical collaboration have led him to perform with legendary artists including Jagjit Singh, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, and Pandits Rajan and Sajan Mishra. His rhythmic brilliance adds texture, excitement and virtuosity to the afternoon.
