About this Event
NSU Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD) will host our 5K Walk/Run for Health Equity on Saturday, September 28, 2024.
This year we partnered with the Health Foundation of South Florida (HFSF) PathWell Program to raise funds to support health equity programs in South Florida. Maternal mortality, hypertension, diabetes, and food insecurity continue to significantly impact underserved communities in South Florida and HFSF-PathWell has implemented several interventions to help reduce these disparities. Help us raise awareness and support our work by participating in this event.
Interactive educational programs sponsored by Florida Blue will also be available for youth 11-18 years during the event. For more information contact Peyton Beutner at [email protected].
