We are thrilled to have the following expert panellists joining us on the evening:

• Thea May

• Rachel Extance

• Jon Torrens

There will be ten-minute interactive talks from each of our three experts followed by a short Q&A session.

Introducing our Speakers:

Introducing Thea May

Communication Coach - For Ethical Entrepreneurs & Passionate People

Thea has coached over 100 ethical entrepreneurs and passionate people (and facilitated 800+ through international workshops and courses) to speak up about something greater than themselves and create meaningful impact. Her clients are climate change educators, ethical investment brokers, and leadership coaches (to name a few), and they carry a message for change in their industry.

The surprising thing she'd learned in over a decade of coaching is that the greatest communicators aren’t necessarily the most (naturally) confident ones. This is why Thea created the Soul-Led communication method.

She specialises in communication-as-channel - meaning you can relax and let the message move through you, have meaningful influence and create intentional change in line with your vision for the future.

Thea’s talk will involve:

Discovering Your Communication Sweetspot with The 3 C’s Method

Thea helps passionate, ambitious, and soul-led people talk about their thing.

Join Thea in a transformative session tailored for neurodiverse entrepreneurs. Discover how her 3 C’s Communication Method can help you leverage your unique neurodiverse traits to communicate more effectively and authentically with your audience.

· The essentials of the 3 C’s in neurodiverse communication

· How to know when you are overlaying or underplaying any of the 3 C’s

· How to make sure you have all the 3 C’s active in your communication

Introducing Rachel Extance

Rachel is an award-winning writer who enables coaches and consultants to talk about who they are, what they do, and why it matters so they can attract their ideal clients.
She used to be a journalist, and when she was talking to people at networking events, she found they didn’t know what their stories were or how to tell them. You have so many stories to share and these build trust, credibility, and connection.
Rachel stands for individuality. When we're at school, we're encouraged to blend in and go with the crowd. It means lots of us were brought up to mask. Mask our feelings, mask our interests, mask who we are. But those things that make us different are the things that attract our ideal clients. The people who get us. The ones who want to work with us because we do work like this.
When you’re trying to decide on who to work with, you will choose someone you can have a chat with. Someone you have something in common with, or who is simply lovely.
An outline of Rachel's talk:

Rachel will be talking about how to talk about yourself and create content as unique as you are.

Introducing Jon Torrens

Jon is an introverted communication coach and confidence upgrader. Former stand-up comic and video game designer, delivering transformative and effective training to create successful, confident communicators.

“I’m an introvert. I studied art and design, then graphic design, got a job as a video game level designer, fell in love with performing stand-up comedy, became a full-time stand-up, didn’t become a star and so gave it up, went back to games and started a family. While working at a games company I saw a really bad presentation and realised that all the writing and performance skills I’d learnt as a stand-up needed to be put to good use. I decided that things needed to change. If an introvert like me can do it, then I think anyone can transform into a confident communicator. In 2013 I set up my own coaching business, working with individuals and small groups in Cambridge and London. After much hard work I have flourished, having found my place in the world. Clever me, eh?” Jon Torrens

An outline of Jon’s talk:

In my talk on performance and delivery, I will give you three precious gems of knowledge:

· How to get an audience’s attention.

· How to keep it.

· How to adapt to the unexpected.

Using these successfully will complement your great material and boost your speaking confidence.
