Come and feel the energy and view the results on Oct 21st at 10:00 a.m. when thirty advanced art students from NSB Middle School will visit the Marine Discovery Center and Artists’ Workshop during the NSB Paint Out. Join the tour of the wet room that will include a talk about the different styles, medium, and compositions done by the 20 professional artists in the NSB Plein Air Paint Out. There will be a short lesson on sky, clouds, and trees follow with a short talk about the area. Then the students will use their view finders to find a scene they want to paint with water soluble oil paints on their 8 x 8 canvases.
Feel free to walk around and view the amazing art the students will paint. Their work will also be hung in the Wet Room and sold for $20.00 each.
