NEBILSM shows the collected works of Nebil (Frankfurt am Main) for the first time in The Netherlands. Strongly influenced by the counter-culture of the nineties, the son of Eritrean immigrants started his artistic career at the age of sixteen. In recent years Nebil has created artwork for Tilburg based bands like Ggu:ll and Gott. Inspired by twisted creative minds like Francis Bacon, John Zorn, David Lynch, Alejandro Jodorowsky and David Cronenberg, NEBILISM shows a collection of oil paintings that find their origins in a huge collection of internet imagery. Themes of Nebil’s works include the oversexualized society, isolation, the endless cycle of brutal everyday violence, falsification of history and the fragmentation of our experiences in the digital age.

Dead Neanderthals
Pummeling free-jazz avalanche, doom-infused horror-hypnosis, synth-driven caveman drones: Dead Neanderthals are many things. With tracks ranging from twenty seconds to well over forty minutes, you never know what you’re gonna get from this outrageous duo.
Prey
Urban decay finds its way in the sound of Prey, a raw garage band from Tilburg that draws inspiration from post-hardcore and punk. After several ep’s and shows ranging from squats to underground festivals, their live energy is undeniable.
Saturday: Expo and music: 14:00-23:00
Autarkh III
Autarkh III will be accompanying the works of Nebil with audio during two improv sets, starting 20:30 and 21:45.
Afterwards Sander will spin some Metal, Punk and Hardcore tunes
Sunday: Expo, Beats and Beers: 12:00 -17:00
DJ dREH2000 will provide us with nice triphop and hip hop to close the weekend
